Holiday Programmes - CHILDREN'S WISHING WELL
Children’s Wishing Well (CWW) is a registered charity and IPC founded in 2002. We have won the Charity Transparency Awards accorded by MCCY from 2019 to 2023. We focus on supporting children and youth from low-income families, mainly through educational programmes and financial assistance. We reach out to over 1,000 beneficiaries each year via 2 full-service centres, 8 community sites, and collaborations with other charitable organisations. We depend solely on donations from private organisations and members of public to fund our services, while keeping all our programmes and services 100% free of charge for the children and families. We believe that by providing the children with educational support and more equal opportunities, they will be able to maximise their potential and get out of the poverty trap.

Holiday Programmes

Our Holiday Programmes offer a blend of Life Skills workshops and Learning Journeys, carefully designed to support children aged 7 to 12 in developing essential skills, broadening their perspectives, and enriching their school holidays with engaging, hands-on experiences.

The Life Skills workshops cover introductory topics in personal and social competencies, technical abilities, and practical skills, preparing children to face life’s challenges confidently even beyond the classroom.

Aligned with set termly themes, these workshops explore areas such as Nature and Sustainability, Personal Development, Food and Culinary, Health and Wellness, Service Learning and Leadership.

Through Learning Journeys, children participate in experiential, multidisciplinary trips that reinforce the termly themes and provide opportunities for real-world exploration.

Whether visiting cultural sites, engaging in STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, Math) activities, or learning leadership skills, each journey promotes creativity, self-expression, and personal growth. By immersing children in diverse environments, we aim to inspire curiosity and complement their learning experiences outside of the classroom.

These weekday programmes make the most of school holidays, offering children memorable experiences that educate, entertain, and inspire personal development.
